TEACHERS TO TEACHERS PROJECT

DESIGN OF CURRICULUM FOR PRE-SCHOOL TEACHERS WHO WORK IN INCLUSIVE CLASSROOM SETTINGS 

On Monday, November 13, 2017, the second transnational management meeting was held in Cologne, Germany. On 12 November 2017 Sunday, the project team of ZİÇEV, Gazi University and Hacettepe University came together to prepare for the management meeting.


The management meeting was hosted by our German partner CJD-Frechen. Representatives from ZİÇEV, Gazi University, Hacettepe University, Ankara Directorate of National Education, Heliomare and Permacultura Cantabria participated in the meeting. Monica Bröhl made the opening speech of the project on behalf of CJD. Then. Asuman Erdem, who spoke on behalf of ZİÇEV, made a general evaluation of the project and summarized what the contributions of the partners were until now and what they will do next.

 

At the next stage of the meeting, ZİÇEV researcher Uğur Ersoy made a presentation about the current situation and needs analysis for pre-school teachers in Turkey in the scope of the project. Necdet Karasu from Gazi University Special Education Department, talked about the studies being conducted in the pilot pre-schools in Ankara regarding the training program for pre-school teachers that they will design within the scope of the project and summarized the studies on e-learning portal to be used for pre-school teachers. The last part of the meeting was reserved to the evaluation and consultation of the partners in relation to the fieldwork.
After the meeting, the project team visited the pre-school of the host institution CJD and exchanged views with teachers and managers.
